About Me

After graduating from Bath University with a BSc hons in Maths and Computing, I worked for about 16 years in various aspects of IT as both an employee and subcontractor.

Based mainly in the Electronics and Telecommunications industries I have worked all over the UK from Cornwall to Scotland with even a short time in Australia. The list of companies that I have worked for include: IBM, Ericsson, Honeywell, Limitorque, Fitzgerald Lighting, AB Electronics amongst others.

During a career break while my children were small, I undertook various voluntary design projects for printed publications, invites, advertising etc for local organisations such as church and school.

I then upgraded my skills by taking a course in Dreamweaver Web Design and Flash Animation and gained a diploma in Web Design from the ACITP, the Association of Certified IT Professionals of which I am now a member.
